Calcium Nitrate

Description

The nitrogen in calcium nitrate is fully available to plants and provides an immediate and predictable growth response. The calcium helps to reduce plant disorders such as bitter pit of apples, blossom end rot of tomatoes and capsicums, hollow heart of brassica crops, and assists in reducing tip burn of lettuce.

A unique fully water soluble fertiliser containing one major (Nitrogen) and one secondary (Calcium) plant nutrient, which is free flowing and easy to handle.

Fertiliser is 100% water soluble and doesn’t leave residues in the solution.

Commercial Agricultural purity Ca(NO3)2​​​​​​: 98%

NPK ratio: 17 – 0 – 0

Concentrated stock solution: Dilute 6g and dissolve into 1L of water.

Watering plants: Use 100ml of stock solution + 900ml of water, as needed or one pinch per L

Foliar spray: Half a teaspoon per L of water (Spray when the sun is low and plants have been watered sufficiently, as needed)
